My motto is: "Your success is my success." I love to see you be surprised at what you can do. You can learn a valuable lifetime skill. It is great therapy and lots of fun! And it is Challenging! Learning to play an instrument is Great for your brain too. You will not grow out of it. I strive to make learning piano and/or violin fun for you! Yes, You can be Musical! I am Experienced teaching music privately in my own studio for way more than 20 years. I teach piano and violin mostly, and at times voice and accordion. I also have experience teaching in several public schools and at the University Community School of Music at the University of Central Arkansas. Have taught at McLennan Community College as well. Average about 45-55 private students for many years. Taught hundreds of students private music lessons over a 25 year or so period from ages 6 to 88. I actually lost count of how many. And I love it! It is my full-time job. It is Joyful.

*Bachelor in Music Education, Major in piano, Minor in voice with the University of Central Arkansas.*Nationally and Permanently Certified in Piano teaching with Music Teacher's National Association. *Past or Present Member of MTNA (Music Teacher's National Association), TMTA (Texas Music Teacher's Association) , WMTA (Waco Music Teacher's Association), NFMC (National Federation of Music Clubs), TFMC (Texas Federated Music Clubs) and the local federated music club (Waco Euterpean Club). *Was awarded 2001-2002 Outstanding Teacher award by University of Central Arksansas Community School of Music.*Valerie-Klipsch Piano Performance Scholarship in 2001 .*Graduated with a Magna Cum Laude, 3.9 grade average.*Have a teaching license out of state, and a Texas Educator License. *Have experience teaching in public schools, in Waco and Arkansas. *I am certified in Instrumental and Vocal Music K-12, and Spanish K-12. Taught Beginning and Intermediate Spanish at McLennan Community College.

We have performed at the Hippodrome, Baylor University, the Jubilee Theater, the beautiful historical building the Women's Federated Clubhouse, several nursing homes, outdoors at Pogue Park, and other places. If you don't want to perform, then that is fine too! I am just here to serve you.

I teach piano and violin lessons to people from or around Waco, Texas; Lorena, Texas; Hewitt, Texas; McGregor, Texas; Robinson, Texas; Temple, Texas; Woodway, Texas; Lott, Texas; Grosebeck,Texas, Hamilton, TX; Rockdale, TX; West, TX; and even Whitney, TX. I have had students from these areas in the past.
